Peer Reviewer Process
All manuscripts submitted by authors to this journal will be reviewed first by the editor to ensure that the manuscript is suitable for the focus and scope of the journal and to check the plagiarism level. The maximum limit of similarity is 15%. Submitted manuscripts must be free of plagiarism content. Incoming manuscripts will be evaluated whether they fit our focus and scope or have major methodological weaknesses.
At least two peer reviewers will review each incoming manuscript. The reviewer does not know the author's identity, and the author also does not know the reviewer's identity (double-blind review method). The review will consider novelty, objectivity, methods, scientific impact, conclusions, and references. Reviewer comments are then sent to the author for necessary actions and responses. Suggested decisions will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. After that, the editor will send the final decision to the writer.
All manuscripts submitted to JPFI must follow the Focus and Scope and the Author's Guidelines. The JPFI Editorial Team is committed to the novelty of applied studies. Any manuscript that offers new contributions to psychological research and science is highly appreciated.
All manuscripts submitted to JPFI will be reviewed in a double-blind peer review, meaning the author's identity is kept secret from the reviewers and vice versa. The editor-in-chief will first assess all manuscripts' suitability with JPFI. Manuscripts deemed appropriate by the Editor are then usually sent to a minimum of two Reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the manuscript. The Editor in Chief and/or the Board of Editors makes the final decision on accepting manuscripts by considering the reviewers' advice.
