About the Journal
Jurnal Psikologi Forensik Indonesia (EN : Indonesian Journal of Forensic Psychology) is an official scientific publication issued by the Indonesian Association of Forensic Psychology (APSIFOR-HIMPSI), established through the 2018 APSIFOR-HIMPSI Board Meeting in Yogyakarta. JPFI publishes empirical research, theoretical reviews, case studies, and methodological developments focusing on forensic psychology and its intersections with law, judiciary, criminology, and public policy. Published twice a year in May and November, each manuscript undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and scholarly relevance. Articles are accepted in both Indonesian and English, aiming to reach a broad readership at the national and international levels. With a vision to become a leading reference in forensic psychology, JPFI is committed to fostering collaboration among academics, practitioners, policymakers, and the wider community in understanding and advancing the role of psychology within the legal system.
